Book an initial home energy assessment with a Registered Energy Advisor before starting any work. you will likely be amazed at how much you can recover, particularly if you have an older home.

How the Program Operates

  1. Schedule Your Initial Home Energy Assessment
Before proceeding with any upgrades, reach out to an Enbridge Gas-approved service organization to arrange your initial home energy assessment. A registered energy advisor will visit your home to evaluate it and identify potential energy-saving opportunities.
  2. Receive a Customized Upgrade Recommendation
The registered energy advisor will provide you with a personalized report outlining suggested upgrades designed to enhance your home’s energy efficiency.
  3. Implement at Least Two Eligible Upgrades
Select your preferred contractor to carry out the installation of your upgrades. It is necessary to complete a minimum of two qualifying upgrades.
  4. Schedule a Follow-Up Energy Assessment
After installing your qualifying upgrades, arrange a follow-up assessment. This visit, which lasts approximately one hour, must occur within 120 days of your initial assessment or by December 31, 2025—whichever is sooner.
  5. Rebates Begin January 2025
Rebates will be issued starting in January 2025. Additionally, you will be reimbursed $600 to cover the cost of both the initial and follow-up energy assessments
